The Baredine Dripstone Cave
Nature lovers and adventurers take note! The Baredine stalactite cave in Croatia is a must for anyone looking for a fascinating nature experience. The cave is more than 132 metres deep and is home to numerous spectacular stalactite formations. It was discovered in 1973, systematically explored and opened to the public in 1995.
Tours of the cave for individual visitors depart every 30 minutes accompanied by a cave guide. The tour of the cave lasts about 45 minutes and takes you up 270 steps through five different rooms. The tours are in Croatian, Italian, German and English. Along the way you will see stunning stalactites, stalagmites and other stalactite formations that come in different colours and shapes.
The cave has a constant temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, so it is recommended to wear warm clothes and suitable footwear.

Under professional guidance and equipped with full safety gear, you learn basic rope techniques, including abseiling and climbing, and experience what it feels like to be a real cave explorer.
The Speleo Adventure combines hiking, climbing, and genuine cave exploration, is suitable for beginners from around 9 years of age, and usually lasts between 3.5 and 5 hours. Even without prior experience, it offers an exciting and authentic addition to a visit to the Baredine Dripstone Cave.
