Romantic small town
The picturesque small town of Pazin is located in the heart of the Istria region, only about 30 kilometres from Porec. In recent years, the town and its suburb Beram have become an extremely popular destination for hikers and cyclists. Known for its historic castle complex, the fort of Pazin, the town even served as a source of inspiration for the famous writer Jules Verne. Verne described the castle in his novel “Mathias Sandorf”.

- Visit to the Pazin Castle: The castle complex is undoubtedly the most famous landmark of Pazin and a must for every visitor. The castle is one of the largest and best preserved fortresses in the region. The fort was first mentioned in the tenth century. - Want to cool off? Zarecki krov is the most famous bathing spot in the small town of Pazin. Away from the sea, this place offers the opportunity to cool off under the clear waterfall. The stone plateaus invite you to sunbathe and the brave bathers can jump from the rocks into the cool water.
